DANBURY – A tractor-trailer truck rolled over, causing a road closure on Interstate 84 westbound in Danbury Wednesday morning, according to Connecticut State Police. All lanes were reopened at about 7:45 but police said drivers should still expect a heavy traffic back-up.
State Police said the crash happened between exits 5 and 6 in Danbury just after 5:45 a.m. They said clean-up is underway and may last until mid-morning.
The Connecticut Department of Transportation said there is traffic congested between Exits 7 and 5 for about two and half miles.
Connecticut State Police advise drivers to find an alternate route.
No injuries were reported by Connecticut State Police.
