STAMFORD–A fire broke out on a fan bus in Stamford Tuesday night.
At 7:04 a 911 call was made for a fire near the corner of Club Road and Kerr Road. Responding firefighters found a bus fully engulfed in flames.
It was a converted school bus that is now used for tailgating at New York Jets games.
The fire was considered more dangerous because there were propane tanks nearby that became involved, and the bus was just 20 feet from a house.
It only took 10 minutes to get the fire under control.
The Stamford Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
