ORANGE- A man turned himself into police over the weekend after he allegedly set his house on fire.
Thomas McMahon, 65, of Orange was arrested on Saturday and charged with first degree Arson and Providing a False Written Statement.
Police say McMahon intentionally set fire to his home at 496 Golf Road in Orange on October 27th. Officials say the fire appeared to have been set inside the home and caused $100,000 dollars in damage.
McMahon was released on a $50,000 bond and is expected to appear in Derby Superior Court on January 5th.
