EAST WINDSOR — Police have made an arrest after a lengthy investigation into an October motel room attack.
East Windsor detectives brought Kyle Bullis, 28, of Ellington, was located and taken into custody last Thursday on an outstanding warrant. He faces felony strangulation, as well as additional threatening and assault charges.
Police say the arrest stemmed from an October 19th incident at the Classic Motel on South Main Street. Bullis allegedly punched a female in the stomach and choked her before threatening to kill her. When police responded, he fled the scene and then disappeared for over four months.
The responding officers had initially tried to track the suspect by sweeping the area with assistance from K9 units, but were unsuccessful in their attempts.
Bullis was arraigned on March 4 and later released on $15,000 bond. He has not yet issued any pleas in response to the allegations.
His next court appearance is scheduled for April 8 at Enfield Superior Court.
