WEST HARTFORD — A man arrested Tuesday for public indecency at the Noah Webster library has been banned from the facility, and told officers he’s been banned from over a dozen other libraries in the area.
Police arrested Anthony Lawrence for public indecency and breach of peace charges after they said a teen girl reported that he had exposed himself to her and made lewd movements.
Authorities said the suspect left the library on a bicycle and was later stopped by officers.
Police said Lawrence was banned from entering the Noah Webster Library. He has been arrested 15 times in the last two years and told police he has been banned from most of the libraries in the Hartford area.
