NEW HAVEN — Police are investigating a Wednesday morning shooting.
Police responded to Henry Street around 11:13 p.m. on calls of a man being shot.
The man was identified as Niquelle Landelius, 21 of New Haven.
Police said that Landelius was taken to Yale New Haven hospital for treatment for a gunshot wound to the buttocks. The victim was to be alert and conscious.
Detectives are investigating the shooting.
