Massachusetts State Police arrested a woman from Norwalk, Conn., after they said she led them on a 15-minute chase Monday morning.

According to police, a trooper tried to stop 22-year-old Rachel Simpson’s car on the Westbound side of I-290 in Worcester for a driving violation.

Police said Simpson refused to stop and continued to drive at “relatively low speeds” toward the Massachusetts Turnpike (also known at I-90). Other state troopers were called in to help in the chase, as well as a helicopter from the State Police Air Wing. Simpson then stopper her car in the left lane of I-90 in Charlton, Mass., according to police.

Officers said Simpson was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol. No one was injured in the chase.

Simpson faces charges of failing to stay to the right, failure to stop for police, and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.
