NEW HAVEN — A New Haven man was shot and killed Friday in broad daylight and police are searching for answers.
Tysean Johnson, 25, was found unresponsive in a car on Huntingon Street, west of Winchester Avenue, just after 1:15 p.m. Friday, according to police spokesman Officer David Hartman. Johnson suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives are investigating. Anyone who has information on what may have happened, witnessed the shooting or with information valuable to investigators is urged to phone detectives at 203-946-6304.
Just two weeks prior, another young man, Robert Richardson, 22, was shot and killed on May Street.
