WEST HAVEN — A West Haven police officer was injured Monday afternoon in a car crash.
Police are investigating the crash at the intersection of West Main Street and Platt Avenue.
Police say the accident involved a police car and another car, injuring the office.
“Avoid this area as traffic will be heavy until cleared,” police said in a statement.
