NORWALK- A pedestrian was hit by a car in Norwalk on the highway entrance ramp from West Avenue to Route 7 Connector north bound and I-95 south bound.
Norwalk police say the victim is in serious condition after the hit-and-run crash. Robert Hartman, 55, remains at Norwalk Hospital.
The crash happened just before 6 a.m. Wednesday. The car fled the scene before police arrived.
The ramp was closed for a time, but has since reopened.
The driver from the crash came to the Norwalk Police Department and spoke to investigators earlier this afternoon. Police say the driver has not been charged with a crime at this time, but the vehicle involved has been taken into custody.
