On November 23 Bristol Police were conducting an investigation when they got a tip that Veronica Reyes, 22, may have killed her two dogs and buried them in her yard.
A subsequent investigation revealed that Reyes had killed her dogs by hanging them from a tree in her yard. She then buried them, police say.
A warrant was issued charging her with two counts of cruelty to animals, and on Friday Reyes was arrested and held on a $10,000 bond. She is due in court on January 19.
