SHELTON -- A Shelton man is charged with murder, accused of shooting and killing his wife during an argument. Police say Thomas Infante and Lisa Infante were married 27 years and were going through a divorce.
Sunday night, around 9:30 p.m. police were called to their home on Hickory Lane. They found Lisa, 52, dead.
Police say Thomas drove away but turned himself into police Monday. After questioning him Monday afternoon, police then arrested him and charged him with murder.
He is being held on $500,000 bond and will be arraigned in Derby Superior Court on Tuesday. State Police Major Crimes Division is assisting with the investigation.
