EAST HARTFORD -- Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened Tuesday night.
Police said Charles Witham, 70, of East Hartford died as a result of the crash which happened on 114 Oak St. shortly after 7:10 p.m. One car landed in the yard of a home and the vehicle's occupant was taken to the hospital.
The occupants of the other car refused treatment at the scene. Police said the road will be closed into the early morning Wednesday.
It’s still unclear who caused the crash. Police are still investigating to determine fault.
