NEW LONDON — Police are investigating after they say a dead woman was found floating in the water underneath the City Pier at 1 Waterford Park.
The call came in around 10:22 a.m. Police responded, and found the body.
Officials said the unidentified female, who appeared to be mid-to-late fifties in age, was floating between the boat dock and pier.
