SHELTON -Police officials said an officer arrested Monday is on unpaid leave.
Shelton police confirm Officer Daniel Judkins, 30, was arrested on April 13, after an incident took place at a private residence and involved his brother-in-law. The brother-in-law, Lorenzo Durante, 35, was also charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief on April 11. Judkins was charged with assault and disorderly conduct.
Judkins is on unpaid leave according to police.
Officials said there were injuries in the incident, but no hospitalization was required.
