Two Stratford town employees were arrested on Narcotics charges, according to police.
The two men are accused of selling illegal drugs while working for the town, or on town property.
Police say they arrested Partic Ambrose, 38, of Stratford, and his charges include illegal narcotics sales within 1,500 feet of a school.
Todd Whitlock, 37, of Milford, was charged with selling illegal narcotics and supplying illegal prescription drugs, police said.
Both men work for the Stratford Public Works Department, police said in a news release Thursday.
“There is a zero tolerance policy with regard to illegal drug use by town employees,” Mayor John Harkins said in the statement. “My administration will continue to push for rigorous drug testing programs in the interest of public safety.”
Police are continuing to investigate this case.
