PLAINFIELD- Eleven earthquakes have hit eastern Connecticut in the last week, the U.S. geological Survey confirms.
The latest happened Thursday morning.
The USGS confirms that a 2.2 magnitude earthquake hit around 4:40 a.m.
Plainfield police said they received several calls from residents about the rumble.
No injuries or major damage have been reported at this time.
An information session on these recent earthquakes will be held Friday at 6:30 p.m. in the Plainfield High School Auditorium.
