BANTAM– A city employee police said sold drugs while working at a pool near a school is due in court.
Police said David Sarasin, 49, a parks and recreation employee with the Torrington Department of Public Works was dealing drugs last summer while on the clock. The drugs were allegedly being sold at the Besse Pool while the pool was open for swimming, and from the town’s Parks and Recreation garage. The pool is near Torrington High School.
Sarasin is charged with sale of narcotics (specifically prescription medication) and sale of narcotics in a school zone. He was released on $25,000 bail.
