SOUTH WINDSOR — A fire broke out Tuesday morning in at the “Lots and More” store on Sullivan Ave in South Windsor.
Firefighters shut down Route 194, also known as Sullivan Ave, at Troy Road in order to battle the blaze. The road reopened a short time later.
Lots and More is a nursery and the fire started in the back of the store.
South Windsor fire officials tweeted that it was an electrical fire and they had to shut down the road to pump in water from across the street.
The fire was reported just before 7:30 a.m. and put out by 8:30 a.m.
Luckily, no one was hurt.
