WEST HARTFORD — An SUV lost control and crashed into a school bus Monday morning leaving three people with minor injuries.
The accident happened near North Main Street and Sheephill Road around 8:25 a.m.
A Ford Explorer was driving on south on North Main Street when the driver lost control, crossed the yellow line and crashed into a school bus headed to Norfeldt School.
The driver of the bus was taken to Hartford Hospital with minor injuries. A student and a bus monitor had minor injuries but were treated at the scene.
Police said the road was slippery at the time which lead to the crash. Verona Jones, the driver of the Ford, was given an infraction for traveling too fast for conditions.
