EAST HARTFORD — Woodland School in East Hartford was put on lockdown Tuesday afternoon after a large fight broke out. Police were called to the school to help maintain order.
“Woodland School is a small K-12 Therapeutic Education Program that offers a smaller, structured, nurturing environment that encourages student success,” according to the school’s website. “Our goal is to teach students social, behavioral and academic skills in order to succeed whether continuing at Woodland or transitioning back to their home schools.”
The school is located at 110 Long Hill Drive.
Later Tuesday afternoon, the lockdown was lifted. Police say there were no serious injuries.
