With technology becoming more prominent in our society and the workforce, it's important for kids to know their way around a computer.

WILTON, Conn. — Story by Isla Ritchie, Lionel Solis  Wilton High School

In this news report we discuss how teaching media production to the younger generations has been growing in importance and demand.

With technology becoming more prominent in our society and the workforce, it's important for kids to know their way around a computer.

Our report takes place at an event hosted at Norwalk Community College where schools from around the area gathered to listen to trained professionals promote careers involving media.

The FOX 61 Student News program empowers Connecticut middle and high school students to explore the world of multi-media journalism by giving them the opportunity to capture, edit and publish original content under the guidance of industry professionals.
