Scholarships have become increasingly important to the majority of students who want to graduate with a college degree, and this year's regional scholarship workshops are part of a pilot project and are being offered free thanks to a generous grant from the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation.

The lunch and keynote session featuring Dr. Bridget Terry Long, Ph.D., is open to educators, youth program providers and community leaders, and will be held on June 22 at 8 a.m. at the Sheraton Hartford South, 100 Capital Blvd, Rocky Hill.
