VERNON, Conn — Vernon police have made an arrest in connection to a crash that killed a motorcyclist last month.
Police arrested Jahmarcus Mccatty, 20, on Wednesday while conducting a search in his Hartford home.
Mccatty is accused of being involved in a crash involving a motorcycle on Prospect Street on February 27. James Faulkner, 25, was killed after a collision with the Infiniti Mccatty was allegedly driving; two parked cars were also hit, according to police. Mccatty ran from the scene, police said.
Mccatty faces a slew of charges, including manslaughter, evading responsibility, larceny, and other reckless driving charges.
He is being held in lieu of a $1 million bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
Mccatty also faces charges in Hartford, according to Vernon police.
