CT Water is reporting many customers will experience low water pressure over the next hour or so as they attempt to contain and isolate the leak. The complete repair is expected to take most of the day and CT water will be notifying affected customers."

Officials said a water main break on Windsorville Road by Stop and Shop caused low or non pressure for some customers in parts of Ellington, South Windsor, and Vernon. The break has been isolated and pressure is returning to normal. Some customers may see discolored water because of sediment stirred up. Our crews are flushing the water system to clear the discolored water. There are a handful of customers in the valved off area that do not have water service. No estimate yet on when their service will be restored.
