HARTFORD, Conn. — A Mega Millions ticket sold in Connecticut won $3 million in Friday's drawing, according to CT Lottery and Mega Millions.
The numbers to match are 25-28-42-64-69 and the Mega Ball 19 and a Megaplier that triples the prize.
The ticket sold in Connecticut matched all five numbers and played with Megaplier to win $3 million. The same happened with a ticket sold in Texas. A ticket in Michigan also matched all five numbers but did not play with Megaplier, still becoming a millionaire by winning $1 million.
Cumberland Farms on 1978 West Street in Southington sold the $3 million winning ticket, and the store will get a $100,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket, CT Lottery said Thursday.
Another Mega Millions ticket sold in Connecticut won $30,000 for matching four numbers and the Mega Ball and opting for the Megaplier.
Three of the tickets sold in Connecticut matched just four numbers, winning between $100-$300.
A total of 7,851 winning Mega Millions tickets were sold in Connecticut for Friday's drawing.
No one in the nation won the $334 million jackpot.
The next drawing is on Tuesday. Nov. 12 and the jackpot will rise to an estimated $361 million.
