HARTFORD, Conn. — A Mega Millions ticket sold in Connecticut won $40,000 in Tuesday night's drawing.
The numbers to match are 1-5-7-22-24 and the Mega Ball 8.
One ticket matched four numbers and the Mega Ball, and played with the X4 Megaplier, winning $40,000.
Ten tickets matched just four numbers, winning between $500-$2,000.
A total of 5,232 winning Mega Millions tickets were sold in Connecticut for Tuesday's drawing.
No one in the nation won the $30 million jackpot. There were three players - two from Florida and one from New York - who matched five numbers and played with Megaplier, winning $4 million. Four other nationwide players who matched five but did not play with Megaplier won $1 million.
The next drawing is on Friday, June 14 and the jackpot rises to $47 million.
