HARTFORD, Conn. — A Mega Millions ticket sold in Connecticut has won $30,000 in Friday's drawing.
The numbers to match are 22-38-48-51-61 and the MegaBall 5 with a Megaplier that triples the prizes.
One ticket matched four numbers and the MegaBall and played with Megaplier, winning $30,000.
Six tickets matched just four numbers, winning between $500-$1,500.
A total of 10,037 winning tickets were sold in Connecticut for Friday's drawing.
Players nationwide hoped to win the $464 million jackpot in Friday's drawing. The highest prize won was $1 million for matching all five numbers. Those two new millionaires are in California and New Jersey.
The next drawing is on Tuesday, Aug. 20, and the jackpot will rise to an estimated $498 million.
