HARTFORD, Conn. — One Powerball ticket sold in Connecticut won a $250,000 prize in Monday's drawing, according to CT Lottery.
The numbers to match are 1-2-27-30-67 and Powerball 9. Tickets with Power Play multiply the prizes by five.
One ticket matched four numbers and the Powerball, and played with Power Play, winning $250,000. The three players that matched just four numbers won between $100-$500, according to CT Lottery.
A total of 5,787 winning Powerball tickets were sold in Connecticut for Monday's drawing.
No one in the nation matched five numbers or hit the $215 million jackpot for the drawing on Monday; one other nationwide winner also won the $250,000 prize, according to the official Powerball website.
The next drawing is on Wednesday, Feb. 7 and the jackpot rises to around $228 million.
VERIFY: No, the advertised Powerball “jackpot” isn’t the cash prize — it’s an estimate for annuity payments
