HARTFORD, Conn. — A Powerball ticket sold in Connecticut won $50,000 in Monday night's drawing, according to CT Lottery.
The numbers to match are 31-36-56-58-69 and the Powerball 20.
One player matched four numbers and the Powerball, winning $50,000. Had they played with Power Play, the prize would have doubled to $100,000. In fact, no one in the nation won $100K or higher in this drawing, making the Connecticut player and two others around the country who won $50K the top prize winners in this drawing.
Three players matched just four numbers but not the Powerball, winning between $100-$200.
A total of 3,808 winning tickets were sold in Connecticut for Monday's Powerball drawing.
The estimated $103 million jackpot will rise to an estimated $114 million for the next drawing on Wednesday, July 24.
