HARTFORD, Conn. — A Powerball ticket sold in Connecticut matched enough numbers to win $50,000 after Wednesday's drawing.
The numbers to match are 3-8-41-56-64 and the red Powerball 18.
The one ticket matched four numbers and the Powerball, winning $50,000. If they played with the PowerPlay, it would have doubled the prize to $100,000.
Nine players matched four numbers but not the Powerball, earning between $100-$200.
Over 6,800 tickets matched just the Powerball, winning between $4-$8.
A total of 10,591 winning tickets were sold in Connecticut for Wednesday's Powerball drawing.
No one in the nation won the jackpot of $504 million. Arkansas and Texas had players win $2 million and New Jersey and New York had players win $1 million.
The next drawing is on Saturday, Dec. 16, and the jackpot rises to around $535 million.
