HARTFORD, Conn. — Another Powerball drawing came and went without a jackpot winner, but two players who bought tickets in Connecticut still won big on Wednesday night.
The numbers to match are 1-11-22-47-68 and the Powerball 7 and Power Play that multiplies the prize by four.
Two Powerball tickets sold in Connecticut matched four numbers and the Powerball, with one of them winning $50,000 and the other winning $200,000 for playing with the X4 Power Play.
Four tickets matched four numbers, winning between $100-$400.
A total of 6,763 winning Powerball tickets were sold in Connecticut for Wednesday's drawing.
One Powerball ticket sold in New Jersey won $1 million for matching all five numbers. Matching all five numbers and the Powerball would have meant winning the $176 million jackpot.
The next drawing is on Saturday, Sept. 21 and the jackpot rises to an estimated $195 million.
