The Connecticut Sun said that it is the first sellout of the 2024 season for Connecticut, as well as the first opener to be sold out since the Sun's game against the Los Angeles Sparks at the Mohegan Sun Arena in 2003.
The game will be streaming on ESPN2 and Disney+/ESPN+.
Clark, whose accolades include two-time AP player of the year, as well as two-time Naismith College Player of the Year, made her debut in a sold-out preseason game against the Altanta Dream on May 9, drawing 13,000 fans, ESPN said.
According to the Associated Press, the Sun finished 27-13 overall and 14-6 in Eastern Conference games last season, while the Fever went 13-27 with 5-15 in the Eastern Conference.
