HARTFORD, Conn. — Both the UConn men's and women's basketball teams have made it to the Final Four in their respective NCAA tournaments. The big questions now are who will they face and when can we watch the action?
Women's Final Four
The Final Four for the women's NCAA championship will take place Friday, April 5, with UConn and Iowa vying for a spot at the championships. It will also be two greats going against each other; Paige Bueckers for the Huskies and Caitlin Clark for the Hawkeyes. Tip-off for that game is at 9:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN.
UConn is inviting its students to Gampel Pavilion on the Storrs campus to watch the Huskies in the Final Four. The student watch party will open its doors at 8 p.m. Students must claim tickets in advance to enter.
The winner will face either South Carolina or North Carolina State for the championship game set to take place on Sunday, April 7 at 3 p.m. on ABC.
Men's Final Four
The Final Four for the men's NCAA championship will take place Saturday, April 6, with UConn taking on Alabama for a spot at the championships. Tip-off is at 8:49 p.m. and will be broadcast on TBS.
UConn will also welcome students to Gampel Pavilion to watch the men's Final Four. Doors open at 7:15 p.m., and students can claim tickets starting Wednesday at 10 p.m.
The winner will face either North Carolina State or Purdue in the Monday, April 8 championship at 9:20 p.m.
