CROMWELL, Conn. — State Police responded to reports of a fatal motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle on I-91 North in Cromwell shortly after 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Following the accident, the highway is congested between Exits 22 and 23. One lane is open.
CT D.O.T is on scene assisting with the left lane closure.
Officials ask drivers in the area to use alternate routes.
The State Police-Collision Analysis Reconstruction Squad (C.A.R.S.) and Truck Squad were also requested to assist.
