THE BRONX, N.Y. — Metro-North Railroad will have extra "Yankee Clipper" trains heading in and out of New York this weekend as the MLB team faces rivals Boston Red Sox at home for a four-day homestand.
The games are scheduled at Yankee Stadium for Friday at 7:05 p.m., Saturday at 1:05 p.m. and Sunday at 1:35 p.m. Yankees won 2-1 in Thursday's game.
These Clipper trains make a stop at Yankees-E 153rd Street station, across the street from Yankee Stadium.
On Friday, the extra Yankee Clipper train will depart New Haven at 4:47 p.m. and make the following stops:
- West Haven
- Milford
- Stratford
- Bridgeport
- Fairfield-Black Rock
- Fairfield
- Westport
- South Norwalk
- Darien
- Noroton Heights
- Stamford
- Greenwich
- Rye
- Larchmont
- New Rochelle
The train will arrive at Yankees-E. 153rd Street station at 6:45 p.m.
On Saturday and Sunday, the extra Yankee Clipper train will depart New Haven at 9:23 a.m. and make the following stops:
- West Haven
- Milford
- Stratford
- Bridgeport
- Fairfield-Black Rock
- Fairfield
- Southport
- Green’s Farms
- Westport
- East Norwalk
- South Norwalk
- Rowayton
- Darien
- Noroton Heights
- Stamford
The train will arrive at Yankees-E. 153rd St. station at 11:24 a.m.
There will be an extra New Haven-bound Yankee Clipper train at the end of each game.
If you end up at Grand Central Station, there will be shuttle trains to Harlem-125th St. and Yankees-E. 153rd St., connecting with the regularly scheduled Harlem and New Haven Line Trains at Harlem-125th St. station.
