CSP: 21-year-old killed in motorcycle crash that closed I-395 south Friday morning

Officials identified the driver as Jadon Nicholson, 21, of Bozrah. The crash remains under investigation.

NORWICH, Conn. — State Police confirmed a man has died after a motorcycle crash that closed I-395 south near exit 13 on Friday morning.

Officials identified the driver as Jadon Nicholson, 21, of Bozrah.

According to a release, Nicholson was traveling on the connecting ramp from Route 2 East to I-395 South when his vehicle capsized onto its right side as he rode the ramp's right curve.

While sliding on its right side, the car crossed the connecting ramp and southbound lanes before colliding into the metal beam guardrail within the median, state police said.

Nicholson was transported by ambulance to Backus Hospital in Norwich, where he later died.

The crash remains under investigation.
