MYSTIC, Conn. — The Mystic Fire Department and Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce Mystic Halloween Parade on Sunday will force many roads around the town to close.
The Groton Town Police Department and the Stonington Police Department announce the temporary closing of roads starting at 12:45 p.m. and will remain in effect for approximately 45 minutes until the parade ends at the B. F. Hoxie Mystic Fire Department.
The road closures are as follows:
- Groton/Mystic side: Water Street (Route 215) at New London Road, Mystic, CT
- West Main Street (Route 1) at Water Street, Mystic, CT east over the Mystic Drawbridge
- Pearl Street at West Main Street, Mystic, CT
- Gravel Street at West Main Street, Mystic, CT
Stonington/Mystic side:
- East Main Street (Route 1)
- Cottrell Street southbound.
- Washington Street eastbound
- Washington Street to Broadway Ave (Route 1) and into the B. F. Hoxie Mystic Fire Department.
