MIDDLEBURY, Conn. — Summer is here and the Quassy Amusement Park is ready.
“It is really great seeing more people getting more comfortable coming back and having fun,” says manager Emily Mantz.
Tuesday Keith McGilvery and Margaux Farrell hit the amusement park’s water slides, it was a FOX61 Bucket List stop perfect for this week’s heat wave.
“It is going to be 90° today with some humidity and it is going to continue throughout the summer,” says George Frantzis whose family has owned the park for decades. And the park recently expanded the water attractions.
With more than a dozen slides and water attractions to choose from we wasted no time testing out the twists and turns.
“You guys did pretty good, you got down in record time, you didn’t flip any tubes, so that is a win for me,” says Frantzis.
