Summer Bucket List takes viewers all across Connecticut

From Middlebury to Old Lyme and Montville, join Keith McGilvery and Rachel Piscitelli on a tour of the Nutmeg State.

CONNECTICUT, USA — The FOX61 Connecticut Bucket List is back - with all our favorite summer spots!

Hosts Keith McGilvery and Rachel Piscitelli are hitting the roads and stopping at their favorite spots to add them to any bucket list.

Friday – Dinosaur Place in Montville

Are you looking to hang out with some prehistoric guests? Well, the Dinosaur Place in Montville is the perfect place.

Keith and Rachel visited the adventure park for their last stop on the Connecticut Summer Bucket List Tour and boy, did they have some fun.

The 60-acre outdoor theme park has more than 50 life-sized dinosaurs, a unique zero-depth water park, and the A-MAZE-asaurus, a challenging maze with a slide through the mouth of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. And don’t forget the T-Rex Tower, a two-story playscape with dozens of challenging features fun for all ages.

And this is only the beginning of the fun.

Head over to Dinosaur Place’s website for all the information.

Oh, and The Dinosaur Place is also part of the Connecticut Summer of the Museum program!

Thursday – Winvian Farm in Morris

The fourth (or fifth) stop on this Connecticut Summer Bucket List Tour was much calmer than the rest. Keith and Rachel visited Winvian Farm in Morris for a day of relaxation in the Litchfield Hills.

Set on 113 acres and bordering extensive woods and lakes, Winvian Farm is a place to recharge during a quiet getaway. From 5-star cuisine to the spa and more, visitors can expect a place boasting warmth and treats.

For more information, visit Winvian Farm’s website.

Wednesday – Ice Cream Tour

Keith and Rachel were in for a sweet treat for their next stop on the Summer Connecticut Bucket List Tour.

First, they visited Gumdrops & Lollipops Candy & Ice Cream in Niantic for some delicious sweet treats. This old-fashioned seaside candy and ice cream shop offers everything from homemade hard ice cream to nostalgic candy, chocolates, fruit slices and so much more!

Then they made their way to the Hallmark Drive-In in Old Lyme. In addition to some delicious ice cream, this shoreline eatery serves burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and fresh seafood. Its creamy, thick milkshakes were voted “Best in Connecticut.”

Tuesday – Brownstone Adventure Sports Park in Portland

The next stop on the Summer Bucket List Tour was the Brownstone Adventure Sports Park in Portland for some fun in the sun!

From swimming and water obstacles to zip lines, cliff jumping and more, the Brownstone Adventure Sports Park promises a fun-filled day for all ages.

Day pass tickets start at $39. To learn more, visit their website.
