MYSTIC, Conn. -- In the woods of Mystic, there’s an outdoor adventure that’s riddled with clues!
“I love that it takes an escape room and brings it to the great outdoors,” said co-owner, Ethan Rodriguez-Torrent.
The team behind Escape New Haven is inviting you to The Lost Totem.
“You’re not confined to a room you’re not confined to a small space, you have this 40-acre park as your adventure space,” Rodriguez-Torrent said.
The family-friendly game in Mystic will take you back in time and, at times, knee-deep Into the swamp of courage if you dare.
“It feels like you are finding things that are really 100 years old,” said co-owner, Max Sutter.
Players get a satchel packed with maps, a compass, a magnifying glass and other tools to help them solve the mystery behind a lost treasure.
“You are free to explore the park at your own speed, It is a slower game so you have two hours to do it instead of one, You can explore the puzzles in any order,” Sutter said.
A two-person team can play for $89 and additional players are $19.
“Bring water, sunscreen, bug spray, long pants - all the usual things if you were walking on a trail in the forest outside,” said Rodriguez-Torrent.
