CONNECTICUT, USA — As of 3 PM Thursday 1/2" - 1" of beneficial rain has fallen and we're not done yet!
Showers will continue off and on into tonight.
After 11 PM and into Friday morning, rain could change to wet snow in parts of the hills of western Connecticut. We are not expecting much, if any accumulation but there's a chance for a few slippery spots there.
Notice areas just to the west of CT are under Winter Weather Advisories! Parts of the Catskills are under a Winter Storm Warning where the most snow is expected.
Most of Friday will be dry with an occasional shower and highs near 50 degrees.
A lingering shower is possible into Saturday but overall it looks like a drier day with morning clouds breaking for afternoon sun.
Sunday will turn windy with gusts up to 30 mph but the day will remain dry.
We'll have to watch the period around or after Thanksgiving for another storm.
TONIGHT: Periods of rain, snow/mix possible in the western hills. Low: mid-upper 30s.
