Today, we’re going to take a closer look at the Lyme disease infection rates across the state. The infection rates in Middlesex and New Haven counties are forecasted to be high. However, it looks like Litchfield county actually has the highest forecasted infection rate in the state. So if you are thinking about spending the day with your pup outdoors at a park such as Westmoor or Bluff Point – or even in your backyard – make sure you talk to your vet about tick protection first.
