    BRIDGEPORT — Bridgeport Police say a suspicious package was reported at the Federal Courthouse this morning. State Police and Federal Marshals were called to handle the incident at 915 Lafayette Blvd, according to a Bridgeport Police tweet. Bridgeport Police and Fire Departments were on scene to assist.     WILTON — A student was arrested after Wilton Police were notified of a social media post involving a possible school threat. Police say the post was part of a group chat in which a student suggested the threat of violence directed toward a Wilton School.     MIDDLETOWN– Officials say mosquitoes trapped in almost 10 Connecticut towns have tested positive for Eastern Equine Encephalitis. Department of Public Health Commissioner Renee Coleman Mitchell said Tuesday there have been no human cases of EEE reported in Connecticut since 2013, but it’s still important for residents, especially in the southeastern part of the state, to take precautions.     CHESHIRE — Police responded to reports of two people suffering knife lacerations Wednesday and the incident resulted in one man’s arrest and another person in critical condition.     WATERBURY — A Waterbury student was arrested Thursday and is facing charges after posting school threats on social media. Police say 18-year-old Shy’rese Eastwood made posts on Instagram that were interpreted as threats towards classmates attending the Waterbury Arts Magnet School (WAMS) at 16 South Elm Street.     BLOOMFIELD — Bloomfield Police say Mountain Avenue has re-opened following a serious crash Thursday. Officers responded to a car crash into a pole in the area of Regency Drive at approximately 7:15 p.m. The vehicle struck a crosswalk post and street sign causing extensive damage.     SOUTH WINDSOR —  South Windsor Police arrested a West Hartford man Tuesday on child pornography charges. Police say 40-year-old Christoper Lindsay, of Race Brook Road’s arrest stemmed from a June 2019 search warrant at a Arthur Drive residence in South Windsor, where he was staying at that time. Back in the spring, officials determined Lindsay downloaded over 200 images and 95 videos of child pornography from the internet.
