  • Police searching for suspect in Waterbury homicide

    WATERBURY – Police are searching for a suspect after a man was shot and killed Thursday night. Waterbury police said around 10:30 p.m., they responded to 170 Willow Street on a report of a gunshot wound victim. Upon arrival, officers said they found a Hispanic male victim, later identified as 24-year-old David Rivera-Mateo.     PLAINFIELD – Police said a man and woman have been arrested in Plainfield on multiple drug charges after a drug deal disagreement caused a loud argument.     BEACON FALLS – Route 42 near Blackberry Hill Road in Beacon Falls has reopened following a tanker rollover accident.     SHELTON – Police said a convicted sex offender in Shelton is being accused of drugging and having sex with a 15-year-old. On Thursday, police said they arrested Miguel Feliciano, 27.
