  • Arrest made in Hartford fatal stabbing

    HARTFORD — Hartford Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal stabbing Thursday night. Police say they were called to 2327 Main Street around 9:30 p.m. on a report that a man was assaulted with a knife. Officers arrived soon after, and quickly took a suspect into custody and recovered the weapon. Police identify the suspect as 44-year-old Mayceo Montford.     CHICAGO — State’s Attorney Kim Foxx recused herself Tuesday from the investigation surrounding “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett’s alleged attack.     HARTFORD — Police say they are investigating their third homicide of the year.     MIDDLETOWN — Middletown police have arrested 27-year-old Kevin Gray after he reportedly threatened to kill a person, and assaulted two others. Police say they were called to a home on Friday, one day after a reported ‘domestic incident’.
