  • Pedestrian Killed In New Haven Monday Identified

    UPDATE: The victim has been identified as Ronshemu Pitman, 33. NEW HAVEN — A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle on Whaley Avenue early Monday, police said. The accident happened shortly after midnight on Whaley Avenue near Ella T. Grasso Boulevard, police said. The road was closed for the investigation but was reopened about 5:30 a.m. Check back for updates.
