    NEW HAVEN — Police are investigating a violent assault that occurred just outside the New Haven Green Thursday afternoon.   • Police identify body found in Connecticut River near Longmeadow

    LONGMEADOW —  Police have identified the body that was found Friday afternoon in the Connecticut River. Springfield police said Achim Bailey, 23, of Springfield  was identified as the person found in the river. “There were no signs of physical trauma present to suggest foul play,” Springfield police said in a release.     GLASTONBURY — Three individuals were arrested after police say they attempted to fill a fraudulent prescription at a local pharmacy.     NORWALK — A multi-family home was gutted by flames around noon Saturday in Norwalk.
