    FOX61 will head to Brookfield for this week’s High School Football Patrol Game of the Week. It’ll be the battle of the unbeaten as the North Haven Indians (4-0) will take on the Brookfield Bobcats (4-0). FOX61 will have full highlights Friday on the FOX61 News at 10.

    We’re heading to Platt as they take on Windsor. Platt is 3-0 and Windsor is 2-1. Fox 61’s Kainani Stevens will set the scene on the News at 5.. We’ll have highlights and reaction at 10 and 11. Each week will feature three premiere match-ups for fans to vote on, with the winner being our High School Football Patrol Game of the Week.

  • FOX61 Game of the Week – Wethersfield v. Bristol Central

    We have a winner in our Football Patrol Game of the Week. We are heading to Wethersfield Eagles where they will take on the Bristol Central High School Rams on Friday night. Both teams are 1-1 on the season, so it should be a great matchup. Fox 61’S Kainani Stevens will be there to cover the game. Be sure to tune into the Fox 61 news at 10 for all the game highlights.

  • 26th annual Osgood Shootout features plenty of local talent

    NEW BRITAIN – Talent from all around Connecticut gathered at New Britain High School over the weekend for the 26th annual Osgood Shootout. Featuring 26 teams between two divisions, High School and Open, the tournament provided an opportunity for dream match-ups between professional athletes and some of the finest secondary talent across the state.     SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – After a 12-year absence, the UConn and Tennessee women’s basketball programs will resume their historic series beginning in 2019-20, as announced by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Tuesday. The two programs, which account for 19 combined NCAA Championships, have not faced each other since 2007.
