Would you like to tour FOX 61 and get a look behind the scenes?

Tours are free and are conducted Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. We talk about the history of the TV station, tour the newsroom, the studio, and the control room. We also tour the printing area of the Hartford Courant and talk about the history of America’s oldest continuously published newspaper. We can discuss jobs in the media and what training is needed.

The touring of both facilities takes about an hour or more.

We recommend the tour for children over 6-years-old and up to senior citizens. The entire tour is handicapped accessible, but there is some walking and standing involved.

We visit some tight spaces, so we have a limit of 25 people on the tour. On site parking for buses is available.

To request a FOX 61 anchor or reporter participate in your event, you may fill out this form.

Note: Unfortunately, not all requests can be accommodated. All requests are also subject to station approval.
